Kate McGarrigle - RIP
From the Globe and Mail. Kate and Anna McGarrigle started out in the 1960s as part of a group called the Mountain City Four, which was led by the one and only Wade Hemsworth, the writer of the Black Fly Song (here’s Wade backed by Mountain City Four) and The Log Driver’s Waltz (here sung by the McGarrigles).
